If
you want to convert fat into muscle, the most effective form of
exercise is aerobic or cardiovascular exercise. It is advised you
should aim to participate in this form of physical activity three
to four times a week.
Here are some tips if you have a membership with a gym, or are
contemplating one.
First and foremost, stretch for about five minutes before any
workout. This will warm up your body and prepare it for exercise
as well as help to prevent any injuries that could be caused by
strenuous activity.
Use
as many cardiovascular machines as you wish (a good aim is to use
at least three). Exercise for ten minutes of each machine with a
rest period of only about one minute.
Use
the weight machines or free weights to build muscle tone. It you
are after lean muscles, do more repetitions at a lighter weight.
On the other hand, if you want strong, denser muscle, you will
achieve this by using heavier weights with fewer repetitions.
Your exercise session should be around forty-five minutes.
Remember to cool Down (an easy five minutes on a cardiovascular
machine) and stretch at the end of your workout to prevent any
muscle aches and injuries.
